Our signature emblem, featured on every bottle, is a kestrel—a bird that has become a symbol of resilience and protection for our winery.
The story begins during the early days of our vineyard. One autumn morning, we prepared to harvest a beautifully ripened parcel of Blaufränkisch, only to find every grape had been devoured by small birds. Disheartened, we faced the loss. But the following year, a kestrel took up residence nearby, keeping the flocks of smaller birds at bay and safeguarding our grapes. Grateful for its unexpected guardianship, we honored the kestrel by placing it on our coat of arms.
